Our Story

Lagom Hair is a small, boutique salon in the heart of Mount Gravatt East, South Brisbane.

When I took over the salon in 2023, I wanted Lagom Hair to be an amazing environment to both work and relax in, more than just your regular salon where you may be left for hours and have multiple stylists attending to your hair. At Lagom Hair, you and your hair are the focus.

This is what sets us apart from the rest. We only have one to two clients in at a time, which ensures staff aren’t running around between clients and in turn cutting appointment times in half. Most of our appointments are achieved in 2-3 hours which is just enough time to enjoy a nice coffee or glass of bubbly, have some snacks and catch up on all the gossip.

We will also place you with the stylist most suited to your needs. Your Lagom Hair experience will be pampering from the minute you walk into the minute you leave.

Hi, I’m Michaila, I have over 15 years of hairdressing experience and I am the proud owner of Lagom Hair. I love the creativity that is part of my job every day . It fills my heart when my valued clients leave feeling pampered and refreshed with their new hair style.

Hello, I’m Kristen, I have been hairdressing for 5 years and simply love this job. Hair cutting is my passion and I especially enjoy achieving a great blonde hairstyle. Getting to know my clients as I work on their hair and seeing their smiles when they leave is just the best.
